Projects on Time, under Budget

@task lets you know where you are with your project budgets and gives you the tools to make needed adjustments to stay within them. Stay under budget and it's all good.

EVA and @task

Earned value analysis (EVA) is an industry standard in measuring real-time project performance by comparing completed work and its cost with its original budget and schedule. EVA gives you an accurate picture of current project standing as well as trend analysis.

Although Earned Value Management can often be confusing, @task makes it simple by providing two numbers, SPI and CPI.

SPI means Schedule Performance Index. If the number is less than 1, your project is tracking late. If it is greater than 1, your project is tracking early.

CPI means Cost Performance Index. If the number is less than 1, your project is projecting to be over budget. If it is greater than 1, it will likely be under budget.

These numbers, combined with things like Estimated Actual Cost (EAC) and Project Completion Date allow you, as a project manager, portfolio manager, or executive to quickly grasp which projects need attention.

Let @task's earned value management (EVM) tools do the work for you.

Capture Costs

Estimating your labor costs doesn't have to be difficult. @task helps you capture your project costs from the organization level down to individual tasks or employees. This gives you the information you need to pinpoint true process overhead and take the guesswork out of creating project budgets.

@task gives you the means to accurately forecast costs, revenue, and profits; making it easy to quickly gauge the value and cost of every project that comes through the door.

Detect Negative Trends

Unfortunately, projects don't always go as planned. That's why it's important to be able to monitor your projects and make adjustments when needed. @task shows you project trends by using periodic schedule variance numbers so you know when to make those adjustments.

Maximize Human Resources

@task's capacity planning and resource utilities make player substitutions easy. Because projects don't always go as expected you need to be able to adjust the game plan. @task shows you which resources are available and how new assignments can affect performance on projects across the organization.

Minimize Overhead

Nobody likes layovers or traffic jams, and when we can avoid them life is better. @task's powerful tools, helpful views, and automated event handlers help you trim the dead time out of processes and open up those unwanted bottlenecks—or avoid them altogether.

Increase Productivity

@task helps you do more in less time. @task increases productivity by giving you powerful managerial and analytical tools that are easy to access and use. This increased efficiency translates to increased income.
